The
Northeast Pennsylvania Center for Independent Living was established
to assist in removing barriers and expanding independent living
options available to people with disabilities in the counties of
Bradford, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Sullivan,
Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming. The individual controls and directs
the services he or she receives to establish a more independent
lifestyle.

home modifications to people with
disabilities through a
grant from the Lackawanna County
Redevelopment Authority.
Eligibility is determined by the following
guidelines:
Applicants must live in
Lackawanna County.
There
must be a person under the age of 18 at
home,
even if he/she is not the person with the
disability.
